The 4 acre property in Colleyville, Texas  that provides such a tranquil setting for Shady Grove Equestrian Camp, is also home to the Haberlys; Debby, Steve, and their  teenagers.  The Haberly family also includes Murphy, the cocker spaniel who is often mistaken for a teddy bear, and Alex, a fun loving Bernese Mountain dog. Shady Grove's equine activities incorporate the barn, tack room, round pens, arena, and 3 acres of fenced pasture.  The round pens enable riders to feel secure learning new skills before they ride in the arena or larger pastures.   Campers are responsible for the total care of the horses while they are at camp.  The girls are introduced to equine nutrition in addition to grooming and proper  stall management.  Visits from our equine vet and farrier are educational and fun!
